Roy Slater – Principal Broker of Hathaway Real Estate Services corp.
Roy Slater, founder of Hathaway Real Estate Services, is a mortgage and real estate expert in the Orange County, California and Central Virginia real estate markets. In addition, he is also one of the founders of Double Dash Web inc., a real estate industry SAS software developer, website design, and internet marketing firm.
Formerly Mr. Slater was a loan officer at GMAC- Ditech.com and sales manager at LendingTree.com. Roy has personally originated and funded over 1500 home loans as an originator and managed 1000’s more as a mortgage manager.
Mr Slater, currently holds a real estate broker license in California and Virginia respectively. He also holds mortgage broker licenses in VA, CA, FL. Lastly, he also holds an auctioneers license in the state of Virginia which is reciprocal with more than a dozen other states.
Fred Cawley – Principal Broker of Hathaway Real Estate Mid Atlantic
As the former President of Summit Realty Group, Inc., Fred was responsible for the successful management of 2,500 multifamily units located in Virginia and North Carolina. Fred has been a licensed Real Estate Broker in Virginia for over 20 years and also holds a Real Estate Brokers license in North Carolina. While the bulk of his experience is in Multifamily Apartment Management, he is experienced in managing Commercial office space and in Real Estate Sales.
While Fred has made Virginia his home, he is originally from Lakewood, Colorado and a U. S. Army Veteran. He has successfully completed many Real Estate courses including Finance, Appraisal, Law and Brokerage. In addition, he completed courses at the Institute of Real Estate Management. Fred comes to Hathaway Real Estate Mid Atlantic Corp. with many years of experience and brings expertise in all facets of Real Estate Management. Along with the Real Estate experience, Fred has Human Resource experience and has managed over 60 Associates.
